Warner Home Video is finally bringing all three of George Miller's Mad Max films starring Mel Gibson to Blu-ray on June 4 in the Mad Max Trilogy box set. This is about a year earlier than expected considering the reboot film Mad Max: Fury Road starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult isn't due to arrive in cinemas until next year.
In addition, each of the three Mad Max films will be available to purchase separately. This means out of print Mad Max The Road Warrior gets rereleased, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome makes its Blu-ray high definition debut.
Srp for Mad Max Trilogy on Blu-ray is set at $49.99, so expect the pre-order price at Amazon.com to come in around $35 or so. I will share the pre-order link along with the cover art for the trilogy set and singles as soon as they are available.
