Prince Charles thanks Canada for Diamond Jubilee support

Britain's Prince Charles has thanked the people of Ontario in Canada for their support during the Diamond Jubilee. The Prince of Wales recorded a message for Ontarians at St. James's Palace to mark the end of his mother, Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations for her 60 years on the throne, and he revealed the monarch was 'deeply touched' by the 'expressions of goodwill' that came from Canada. In the video uploaded to The Royal Channel - the official YouTube channel of the British monarchy - he said: 'It is my great pleasure to be addressing you at Canada's final celebration at the queen's Diamond Jubilee. I'm only sorry it has to be in this rather disembodied form.
