'Sleepy Hollow' TV series from 'Star Trek' writers gets Fox pilot
A television version of Sleepy Hollow has been picked up to pilot by Fox. The adaptation is from Star Trek Into Darkness writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and will be directed by Underworld's Len Wiseman. The pilot will follow Ichabod Crane as he teams with Sleepy Hollow's female sheriff to solve supernatural mysteries, according to Deadline. Johnny Depp famously played Crane in Tim Burton's 1999 Sleepy Hollow film - another TV pilot based on the franchise is still in the works at The CW. Fox has also ordered two more drama pilots.
