A graduate student has invented digital ice cubes that detect when someone has had too much to drink. Dhairya Dand, who is currently studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has developed the product that warns when you've had too much alcohol, or a lot in a short space of time. The idea came to Dand after he drank too much at a party and woke up several hours later in an emergency room after blacking out. Dand created a video to explain his invention and experience of making it, which has gained thousands of views since its release last week.
