“Kick-Ass 2″ Adds Two More to Cast
Casting updates for Kick-ass 2 is heating up (though I’d hesitate to say they’re Catching Fire, because Hunger Games is unruly in comparison), as Donald Faison and John Leguizamo has joined returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Nicholas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Lyndsy Fonseca. Today, we can add two more fresh faces to the mix, thanks to Deadline.

First up is Morris Chestnut (American Horror Story, V), who will replace Omari Hardwick, as Hit-Girl’s guardian in the sequel.

Robert Emms (War Horse, Mirror Mirror) has been cast as Insect Man in the Jla/Avengers super team that will be formed in the second installment of the movie adaptation of the hit comic book from Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.

Kick-ass 2: Balls To The Wall doesn’t have a release date to this point, but work on the film suggests a 2014 release at the very latest.
