R.I.P Richard Lynch (1936-2012)

The multi-talented and prolific actor, Richard Lynch, who is perhaps best known for his portrayal of many starkly villainous characters during his forty-year career, has died at the age of 76. A spokesperson for Lynch, Mike Baronas, said there was no Police investigation planned, after the actor’s body was found on Tuesday (19th June) by a friend, who had grown concerned when they hadn’t heard from him for a few days. He was found in his home in Palm Springs.

Some of his most memorable filmic work derived from the horror genre, and included appearances in God Told Me To (1976) and Halloween (2007). He also lent his talent to some of televison’s most cherished shows over the years, including Battlestar Galactica, The A-team, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Six Feet Under.
