A planned remake of 1987 movie Dirty Dancing has been delayed due to casting issues, according to U.S. reports.
The film, which starred Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze, is set for a revamp, with Kenny Ortega slated to direct and Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk preparing to rewrite the screenplay.
It was due for a July 2013 release, but movie website Deadline.com reports the date has been pushed back to allow bosses more time to cast the lead roles.
