Vera Farmiga and Andy Gacia Take a Tour With ‘Admissions’

They’ve both been (literally or figuratively) screwed by George Clooney onscreen, and now they’re combining forces on a project that should let either take more of a center stage. According to THR, Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga will be leading the romantic comedy, Admissions, which Adam Rodgers is directing.

As a starting point, this project should not be confused with the Tina Fey and Paul Rudd-led comedy Admission, which starts production sometime next month. The project at hand has Farmiga playing a “free-spirited mom taking her driven daughter on a walking tour of a beautiful small college.” Garcia will appear as the “buttoned-up heart surgeon who’s taking his son on the same tour.” (What a coincidence!) Neither can maintain some sort of bond with their respective child during this time, but a spark soonsets off between the two.
