Snoop Dogg's Mac and Kevin Go to High School Acquired by Anchor Bay
Anchor Bay Films has picked up the rights to Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's film Mac & Devin Go to High School. The agreement includes all rights, excluding subscription VOD, for the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. Directed by Dylan C. Brown, Mac & Devin Go to High School follows the release of the chart-topping soundtrack of the same name which debuted back in December 2011. Additionally, the film will be supported by Snoop and Wiz at numerous upcoming tour dates. Today's deal was announced by Bill Clark, President of Anchor Bay Entertainment.

"We're extremely excited to be working with Snoop and Wiz," stated Clark. "Their new album has done extremely well and we're happy they chose Anchor Bay Films to release Mac & Devin."

"Snoop has an extremely loyal following and somehow, even though he's only one person, he's everywhere," commented Kevin Kasha, Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Anchor Bay Films.
