Brad Pitt Secures Rights For 'Dark Void' Movie

If Capcom's "Dark Void" becomes a hit when it comes out in 2010, Brad Pitt's production company Plan B Entertainment will already be ahead of the game, as they've announced they now have the rights to make a film based on the unreleased title.

"As a game, 'Dark Void' was developed with a wide-screen mentality -- a world full of adventure presented in cinematic scope and scale," Capcom Entertainment's senior vice president of licensing Germaine Gioia said in a press release. "Plan B recognized the potential of our newest property and are as excited about bringing 'Dark Void' to life in cinemas as Capcom is to bring the interactive experience to home theaters."

The game's plot follows a pilot named Will who crash lands in the Bermuda Triangle only to wake up and find himself in an alternate reality where aliens with high-tech toys want to take over the world.
