Stan Lee Reportedly Won’t Have A Cameo In Upcoming ‘X-Men’ Film ‘Dark Phoenix’
While the world still reacts to the passing of Stan Lee, one of the biggest questions amongst fans is whether or not the Marvel Comics legend was able to shoot cameos for upcoming films before his death. We’ve already heard that Avengers 4 will have the requisite cameo from Lee, but apparently, there’s one 2019 Marvel movie that doesn’t have a cameo from the writer.

According to a report from EW, Lee never filmed a cameo for the upcoming X-Men film Dark Phoenix. While it’s unclear if this was a matter of timing or if he was never set to appear in the film, Dark Phoenix, will mark the first X-Men film to not have Lee appear in a cameo.

Jack White Almost Played Jackson Maine in 'A Star Is Born' - We'll Let That Sink In

Jack White Almost Played Jackson Maine in 'A Star Is Born' - We'll Let That Sink In
It's hard to imagine Jackson Maine being played by anyone other than Bradley Cooper. And yet, the battered lead of 2018's A Star Is Born could have very easily been portrayed by an entirely different person. Apart from the initial, and well-reported, back-and-forth on who would direct and star in the remake, it was recently revealed that Cooper had Jack White in mind to portray Maine.

Before Lady Gaga was officially attached to the project, Cooper was interested in casting a real-life musician. "I saw this other person that I wanted to do this, who is an actual musician," he told Variety. "But [the studio] wouldn't make the movie with him." The publication later learned the musician in mind was the former White Stripes singer and guitarist.

Though Cooper would go on to deliver an impassioned performance, in his defense, White wasn't an entirely out-there casting idea. In fact, he previously acted

Box Office: 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' Heads for $250 Million Global Launch
Put your wands up, muggles. The upcoming chapter in the Harry Potter universe looks to enchant moviegoers and dominate the global box office.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is expected to earn $65 million from over 3,300 domestic locations, though industry estimates show that number could be closer to $75 million. The higher part of that range would be in line with the opening of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the first entry in the Harry Potter spinoff series. That film debuted with $74 million on the same weekend two years ago and went on to generate $234 million in North America and $580 million overseas. The second film carries a slightly bigger budget of $200 million, while the first outing cost $175 million.

Warner Bros., the studio behind the magical movies, expects to see a similar boost from the international box office. The sequel could make as much as $250 million this weekend when including foreign markets, where it will launch day and date in nearly 48 territories.

‘Dumplin” Trailer: Jennifer Aniston’s Plus-Size Daughter Changes the Beauty Pageant Game
It’s strange that beauty pageants are still a thing in 2018, but apparently people still love a superficial contest where women are rewarded for their looks and the judges pretend that the answers to any of the questions they ask actually matter.
