Pete Davidson Shows Christmas Spirit In Brief ‘SNL’ Appearance After Disturbing Post
Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson raised a lot of concern on Saturday with an unsettling Instagram post that reportedly triggered a welfare check by NYPD. Hours later, he made a brief appearance on SNL, showing everyone that he was alive and well, and even donned a Christmas-colored outfit to fit in with the show’s Christmas theme and the song that followed him.

Davidson introduced musical guest Miley Cyrus’ performance of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s classic (Happy Xmas) War Is Over, which featured Lennon and Ono’s son, Sean Ono Lennon, as well as Mark Ronson.

This was Davidson’s only live SNL appearance tonight (he was also featured in a pre-recorded skit about new Oscar host auditions). He was not visible during the curtain call at the end of the show when the entire cast gathers on stage.

Terry Crews Is Hosting a Live, 24-Hour Christmas Painting Session — Watch
Anyone who misses Bob Ross and loves Terry Crews will be pleased to learn that the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star is holding a live, 24-hour painting session. NBC is airing “A Very Terry Christmas: Cozy 24-Hour Painting Sesh with Terry Crews” on YouTube at this very moment, and although some trickery is involved and the actor isn’t actually taking brush to canvas for a full day, the illusion is convincing enough.

A visit to NBC’s website reveals what we’re watching is in fact a 42-minute video played on a loop. Crews certainly knows what he’s doing, not only as a painter — his color mixing is especially impressive — but as a low-key host. He takes a cue from Ross in saying things like, “Ooh, don’t you just love a blue sky? A pretty, Christmas-y blue sky.”

Over the last year, the actor has become an unexpected part

  • Popsugar
With Marvel's latest edition of the Captain Marvel trailer, there are a lot of questions about the people associated with Carol Danvers and her group of "noble warrior heroes." The new footage gives small glimpses of the other Kree members who make up Danvers' task force, but the one who has everyone's interest particularly piqued is the original Captain Marvel, known as Mar-Vell.

In the comics, Mar-Vell is a captain in the Kree Space Fleet (the Starforce in the film) who is known for his numerous victories against the Skrull for the Kree Empire. He is sent to observe Earth along with his commanding officer, Colonel Yon-Rogg, and adopts the identity of recently deceased scientist Dr. Walter Lawson. Camilla Posing With a Tiny Pony Called Harry Is the Holiday Gift You Didn't Know You Needed
If you thought the cutest royal photos of 2018 would feature one of the young royals, you were sorely mistaken. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis played a good game, but they've just been pipped to the post by a cute redhead called Harry. No, not that one. This Harry is a mini Shetland pony, and he totally stole the spotlight as he made the acquaintance of the Duchess of Cornwall when she attended a Christmas Carol Service for the animal welfare charity Brooke Action for Working Horses and Donkeys in London on Wednesday.

The pair, who I like to think are now best friends, were also joined by Ollie the donkey, who has definitely been perfecting his photo face for some time. The three were photographed at the Guards chapel in Westminster, and from the look on Camilla's face, we think she was pretty overwhelmed by the adorable little pony.

Miley Cyrus's Powerful Performance of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" Will Bring You to Tears

Miley Cyrus's Powerful Performance of
Just a day after Miley Cyrus released her cover of John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," she sang it beautifully on Saturday Night Live. The singer was accompanied by musician Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon, who also worked with Cyrus on the song. Cyrus's soulful, raspy voice gives a welcome edge to this classic Christmas tune, and her high-energy performance totally gave me chills. She's been vocal about her plan to release a new album in 2019, and it's a treat to have new music already. Watch her impressive performance, and then listen to another one of her new songs, "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" (if you don't already have it on repeat).
