Mandy Moore Details Harrowing Psychological Abuse From Ex-Husband Ryan Adams
Mandy Moore has had the kind of career arc that many in Hollywood can only dream of. After rocketing to fame with her first album, So Real, and its hit single, "Candy," in 1999, Moore was able to transition from being a teenage pop star into a respected actress, landing roles in films like Saved, A Walk to Remember, and Tangled. Given her critically acclaimed performance in NBC's This Is Us over the last three years, it might seem like Moore's music career is far behind her, but allegedly, her recent lack of presence in the music industry wasn't entirely her decision.

When the 34-year-old recently sat down with The New York Times to discuss her marriage to ex-husband Ryan Adams in the newspaper's exposé of his alleged history of sexual harassment and indecency, she revealed that the singer-songwriter had effectively derailed her musical success during the time they were together.

  • Popsugar
Just as AMC's The Walking Dead unveils a key element to the Whisperers storyline, the network hits us with the devastating news that Black Panther actress Danai Gurira is leaving the series. While we wish her the best, what does the departure mean for Michonne? Will our sword-slinging sensation walk off into the sunset or face a gruesome death? What about her children? Who will lead in her absence? While it's far too early to answer any of these questions, we can certainly look to the comics for some possible scenarios.

At the end of the "All Out War" story arc in Image Comics' Issue 126, Michonne is part of the team sent by Rick to surround the Saviors in the final attack. She survives the battle and appears in the crowd during Rick's unification speech. All of this aligns well with the end of AMC's eighth season. But in the series' next issue,

Here's Why You Can Basically Count on a Third Happy Death Day Movie
When you consider the fact that Happy Death Day was basically an instant hit that quickly earned a second movie, it's easy to see how the film's sequel, Happy Death Day 2U, is set up for success. After all, the insane trailer promises more insane deaths, plenty of laughs, and more than a few scares. All things considered, it's hard to imagine a timeline (ha) in which writer-director Christopher Landon doesn't get the chance to make a third movie. You may think I'm getting ahead of myself, and on some level, you'd be right. But that's only because Universal hasn't officially signed off on a trilogy. That said, there are a few indicators that are giving us a lot of hope.

The main reason we're pretty confident about a third movie is, well, Landon wants to make one. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the creator of the universe said

If This Theory About Big Richie Is True, The Walking Dead Is Setting Negan Up

If This Theory About Big Richie Is True, The Walking Dead Is Setting Negan Up
The Walking Dead managed to raise the living dead to star status with the introduction of Big Richie in the midseason premiere, "Adaptation." Twitter fans have come up with several theories on the identity of the walker who appears to have a special place in Negan's heart - namely, that the character is a metaphoric representation of Negan's demise. The former Savior leader must literally kill a demon from his past to make way for a brighter future.

Well, let's take theory to the next level: Negan thinks Big Richie is Rick. Consider it. The name "Richie" is ultimately a variant of "Rick." Maybe Negan is flashing back to his bitter relationship with our favorite Alexandrian. Remember, we as the audience know that Rick Grimes is alive, but everyone on the show thinks he's dead. Negan could very well believe Rick has transformed into a walker after the disastrous events at the bridge.

Everything Will Smith Has Said So Far About Playing Aladdin's Iconic Genie
When the full teaser trailer for the live-action reboot of Aladdin made its surprise debut, the one thing that had everyone talking was Will Smith's first appearance as the Genie. Fans have been curious how the big, blue cartoon character would be translated to a live-action format, and while Smith's appearance met with some mixed reactions, Smith himself has talked at length about his feelings on taking on the responsibility of this legendary character.

The original Genie, as voiced by the inimitable Robin Williams, became an instant pop culture icon that has endured over the past two decades. It's an "often replicated, never duplicated" performance that could easily overshadow Smith's take on the character. But he wasn't fazed; instead, he told Entertainment Weekly that he took inspiration from Williams's methods, but not his literal performance.

"After I watched the movie a few times, I saw where Robin Williams infused

The Original Voice of Ariel Weighs In on Who Should Star in the Live-Action Little Mermaid

  • Popsugar

The Little Mermaid is still a timeless classic almost 30 years after its release. Even as an adult, I'm still enchanted by Ariel and Eric's love story, the gorgeous animation, and the film's magical score. Not only was the movie a huge part of people's childhoods, but it also marked the start of the Disney Renaissance - the decade from 1989 to 1999 in which Walt Disney Animation Studios produced critically-acclaimed films like The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin.

After all these years, The Little Mermaid is still touching people's lives as it gets retold to different generations. In 2008, the film was turned into a Broadway musical, and in 2016, Disney held a special live concert of the film at the Hollywood Bowl starring Sara Bareilles, Darren Criss, and more. Now, the memorable tale is getting yet another life with Disney's upcoming live-action remake.

The Plot of Frozen 2 Is a Mystery, but at Least We Can Confirm These Cast Members
We may have a teaser trailer and a release date, but when it comes to Frozen 2, we still have way more questions than answers. Why did Josh Gad tag Sven the reindeer as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in his Instagram post? Is it possible for any new song to beat the power ballad (and parents' nightmare) that is "Let It Go"? How exactly does a snowman expect to survive Autumn? Though we don't have many definitive answers for you, we can confirm who will be returning to reprise their roles in the long-awaited sequel - as well as the two new voices you can expect to hear!

Common's got nothing but good things to say about Kap here and gives a good reason why he hasn't compromised his principles.

Um, Happy Death Day Was Originally Supposed to Have a Completely Different Ending
With Happy Death Day 2U finally in theaters, we're running back into the open arms of our favorite badass heroine, Tree Gelbman. This time around, Tree isn't just trying to save herself from certain death, but must also try to save all her friends from an uncertain fate that involves even more gruesome deaths and, yes, plenty of laughs. Ahead of the second film's release, I sat down with star Jessice Rothe to talk about her incredible character and what makes the franchise so special. In that interview, though, I actually learned an absolutely shocking fact about the film that started it all: Tree was supposed to die at the end.

I know, you're like, "Big deal. She dies like 100 times in the whole movie." But I mean Tree initially was supposed to die permanently. Rothe broke it down for me during our little chat. "I make it to Tuesday the 19th.

Jupiter's Legacy: Meet the Star-Studded Cast Leading Netflix's Next Superhero Epic

  • Popsugar
Netflix has another superhero show coming to the streaming platform, but don't expect any additions to the series of gritty Marvel adaptations that recently got the boot. Instead, Netflix is bringing Jupiter's Legacy to the small screen.

According to a press release from the network, Netflix is planning this as the first in a slate of series and movies based on the stories of Mark Millar, who wrote a series of graphic novels of the same name. The show's plot is described as follows:

"The world's first generation of superheroes received their powers in the 1930s. Now, in present day, they are the revered elder guard, but their superpowered children struggle to live up to the legendary feats of their parents."

It seems like another winning entry into Netflix's impressive line-up of original shows, no? If your interest is piqued, keep reading to find out who's already been nailed down to star.

If You Recognize This PEN15 Actor, You're Probably a Fan of Network Dramas

  • Popsugar
Hulu's PEN15 is making headlines already for its quirky, bluntly honest take on the indignities of middle school. Although the two lead characters, Maya and Anna, are portrayed by adult women (creators Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle), the rest of the teen and tween-aged cast is played by actual young actors. Among the potential breakout stars is Dallas Liu, who's getting plenty of attention but probably doesn't quite look familiar to most viewers.

Liu portrays Shuji Ishii-Peters, Maya's older brother. The young actor made his film debut in the 2010 Japanese-American film Tekken. Based on a video game, the martial arts action movie follows a young fighter, Jin Kazama, as he enters a fighting tournament in hopes of avenging his late mother and getting revenge on his father and grandfather. Liu played Jin as an 11-year-old boy in some scenes.

In the early 2010s, Liu moved on to a series
