Amy Poehler Is Fully on Board With a Parks and Rec Reboot - She Even Has Blazers Ready!
It's been three years since we tearfully bid adieu to Parks and Recreation, and we've pretty much been pining for a reboot ever since the emotional series finale aired. As it turns out, dedicated fans aren't the only ones on board with the idea of reuniting Pawnee's finest - leading lady Amy Poehler is, too. "I'm technically available," Poehler said at the 10th anniversary celebration dinner of Smart Girls, the organization she founded. "I have like six of Leslie's blazers in my closet, so anytime."

From 2009 to 2015, Poehler played the role of Leslie Knope, the competitive deputy director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department, a proud waffle-lover, and an even prouder feminist. When the NBC sitcom ended, there were hints that Leslie would go on to become president. While addressing the possibility of a reunion, Poehler said she hadn't given much thought to Leslie's storyline, adding that maybe she'd be "president of the moon.

Everything Noah Centineo Has Said About the To All the Boys I've Loved Before Sequel

  • Popsugar
After months of speculation, Netflix finally has given official confirmation that a sequel to Summer's hit rom-com To All The Boys I've Loved Before is in the works! A sequel seemed likely, given the original film's strong numbers - and the fact that its source material, Jenny Han's Ya novel of the same name, is the first book of a trilogy - but it's nice to have it confirmed at last, and we're excited to see if the next film continues following the trajectory of the novels.

The most important question, now that the movie itself is confirmed, is whether or not the original cast will be back? In particular, leading man Noah Centineo, who played movie-boyfriend of our dreams Peter Kavinsky, has gotten a lot of publicity and popularity out of the film - will his schedule have room for a sequel? Luckily, the answer is probably yes: the entire original cast,

Constance Wu's Next Rom-Com Is About a Woman With a "Double Pregnancy" - Yes, That's a Thing

  • Popsugar
Constance Wu's Next Rom-Com Is About a Woman With a
Rom-com enthusiasts, bow down to your new queen: Constance Wu.

After starring in this Summer's biggest romantic hit, Crazy Rich Asians, the Fresh Off the Boat actress is reportedly doubling down on the genre, according to new rumors about her next film role. In an as-yet-unnamed romantic comedy directed by Glow star Kimmy Gatewood and executive produced by Elizabeth Banks, Wu would play a "charmingly chaotic woman who has to get her life together when she becomes pregnant with two babies from two different men."

Um, say what now?!

Yes, apparently Wu's character, if she does sign onto the film, will live out one of my actual nightmares when she endures a double pregnancy (though I'm sure her journey will be far less traumatizing). Savion Einstein wrote the screenplay about this case of "superfecundation," which is apparently a very, very rare condition that could, hypothetically, result in such a scenario.

Why Fans of the Original Mary Poppins Will Fall in Love With Mary Poppins Returns

Why Fans of the Original Mary Poppins Will Fall in Love With Mary Poppins Returns
Rebooting a classic film is always tricky: you want it to pay tribute to the original, but it also needs to stand on its own. While many reboots fail to find the right mix of nostalgia and originality, Mary Poppins Returns finds the perfect balance by adding a spoonful of sugar. Of course, one thing that works in the film's favor is that it's actually not a remake but a sequel. Set 20 years later, Mary Poppins (now played by Emily Blunt) returns to a grown-up Michael (Ben Whishaw) and Jane (Emily Mortimer) to teach them a few more valuable lessons. Not only is the film filled with sweet nods to the 1964 film, but it also brings the classic story to life in a whole new way. If you're a huge fan of Mary Poppins, here are just a few reasons you'll fall in love with the new film.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: The (Likely) Real-Life Inspirations Behind Declan Howell

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: The (Likely) Real-Life Inspirations Behind Declan Howell
In The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's second season, our intrepid heroine Midge Maisel faces down that dilemma that's been haunting creative professionals forever: What is the cost of creativity and art? While some of her conflict stems from her wild, complicated family situation and her tangled love life, she's also questioning how much she's willing to put into her career, even at the expense of other aspects of her life. That inner conflict is put on full display in the seventh episode of the season, where Midge meets Declan Howell (played by The Man in the High Castle's Rufus Sewell), a drunken but brilliant painter.

Declan's role in the story is fairly simple: to represent, both for Midge and for viewers, the dark, lonely, and sometimes brutal side of being an artist. He creates spectacular art, but his pursuits cost him his home life and his family, leaving him alone in

This Theory About Mary Poppins and Bert's Relationship Will Completely Change Your Childhood

Most of us are familiar with the classic story of Mary Poppins, but what about the nanny's life before she tended to the Banks children? While little is known about her past, it's pretty clear that Mary has been to Cherry Tree Lane before. Not only is she familiar with the town, but she's awfully friendly with the chimney sweep, Bert. Though the state of Mary and Bert's relationship has always been a little fuzzy, a popular theory has recently resurfaced ahead of Mary Poppins Returns explaining their interesting bond: Mary Poppins (played by Julie Andrews in the original and Emily Blunt in the sequel) was actually Bert's nanny when he was a kid.

In the very beginning of the film, Bert sets the story by telling the audience, "Wind's in the East/Mist coming in/like something is brewing/about to begin./Can't put me finger/on what lies

Here's Everything We Know About the To All the Boys I've Loved Before Sequel

Knowing that Han had written two more books detailing Lara Jean's romantic misadventures, fans immediately clamored for a sequel. While it hasn't been made 100 percent official yet, Netflix seems to be very close to confirming a sequel, presumably based on Han's follow-up novel, P.S. I Still Love You.

Before you rewatch the movie a second (or millionth) time or find another rom-com to fill your heart, here are all the details that you should know about the upcoming sequel.
