Bella Thorne Says Freeform Executives Told Her She Was ‘Ugly’ in Emails and On ‘Famous in Love’ Set
Bella Thorne spoke out against Freeform in a wide-ranging interview with the Los Angeles Times. The actress starred in the lead role of the network’s “Famous in Love,” which was created by “Pretty Little Liars” showrunner I. Marlene King and cancelled after a two-season run. Thorne told the Times the network viewed her as “uncontrollable and crazy” and branded her as a diva “because they were scared I was going to go running my mouth if I was upset.”

Thorne also accused unnamed Freeform executives of calling her ugly at various points during the production of the series. “One issue is when you have a girl, a young girl who is on your show, you can’t tell her that she’s ugly or she’s fat or she’s this or she’s that because that’s going to make her feel bad,” Thorne said.

When asked who called her ugly,

Roseanne Barr Is Not Pleased With the
The Conners premiered its first episode on Tuesday night, finally putting to rest any speculation about how the Roseanne spinoff deals with the absence of Roseanne Barr's titular character.

Barr's initial reboot of the show was of course axed by ABC after a string of vile, racist tweets and abrasive behavior from the 65-year-old, and she revealed during an interview a few weeks before the The Conners premiere that the show planned on killing off Roseanne Conner via opioid overdose. Now that we know that is indeed how the character dies - she overdoses on medication prescribed to her following knee surgery - Barr is speaking out about how disappointed she is with the twist in a joint statement with her Rabbi, Shmuley Boteach.

"While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of The Conners, all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne's cherished colleagues,

She, of course, wore the ghoulish makeup from the film (which is also probably the sole reason why you've been having nonstop nightmares for

Prince Harry Shares a Deeply Personal Moment With a Widow After Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge

Prince Harry Shares a Deeply Personal Moment With a Widow After Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tour of Australia is more than just receiving gifts and praise from adoring fans. It's also about getting the chance to connect with people on a personal level, which is precisely what Prince Harry did on Friday when he scaled the Sydney Harbour Bridge alongside Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Invictus Games competitors. One of those competitors who joined the Duke of Sussex in climbing the bridge was 41-year-old Gwen Cherne, who lost her husband and Australian special forces officer Peter J. Cafe to suicide in February 2017.

Harry and Gwen spoke for about 10 minutes about a number of topics, including the experiences of loss and grief. Harry, who lost his mother, Princess Diana, at the age of 12, comforted Gwen while they talked. "He understood what I meant. When you understand loss, I think it's obvious," Gwen said in an interview with People. "He

Let's Form a Calming Circle - Freeform Is Airing a Hocus Pocus Anniversary Special

  • Popsugar
Mark your calendars, virgins! Freeform just announced that a Hocus Pocus anniversary special is headed to the network, just in time for Halloween. The film's official 25th anniversary passed back in July, but Freeform picked a slightly more appropriate time to celebrate the occasion, given all the Halloween inspiration Hocus Pocus has contributed to pop culture since it was first released in 1993.

The Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash will air on Oct. 20 as part of the network's 31 Nights of Halloween lineup, and it's set to feature interviews with a few of the movie's original castmembers: Sarah Jessica Parker, Thora Birch, Kathy Najimy, and Amanda Shepherd. Sharon and Kelly Osbourne will also be in attendance at the bash to host a costume contest, and Dove Cameron is one of three artists set to perform. It might be a while before we get that Hocus Pocus sequel, but if you're feeling antsy about it,

Pack Your Bags For Aldovia, Because A Christmas Prince 2 Finally Has a Premiere Date

Are you ready for more Amber and Richard? I sure hope so, because Netflix's sequel to A Christmas Prince, officially titled A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, will be streaming for your viewing - and cringing - pleasure before you know it.

As you might recall, the unintentionally hilarious holiday romance, set in a fictitious European nation called Aldovia, became a holiday sensation almost immediately after its release last year. And, as you probably also recall, you can't hide guilty pleasures from Netflix. Despite its title, you shouldn't expect the sequel to live up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle-worthy nuptials - after all, this is a continuation of a movie that shows a grand coronation that's decorated with all the splendor of the sad New Year's Eve "party" I threw in junior high . . . for four friends . . . in my basement.

That being said, I truly can't wait for more!

Before You Become Obsessed With Elite on Netflix, Here's What We Know About Season 2

Over the past few years, Netflix has been expanding its original programming more and more. Now, they've even begun expanding into foreign-language original series. The first was Cable Girls, a historical drama about 1920s phone operators which is headed into its fourth season. For its second Spanish-language original drama, Netflix has produced Elite, a Gossip Girl-esque teen soap. Set in one of the most exclusive private schools in Spain, the contemporary drama follows a handful of working-class scholarship students who are thrown into this privileged, high-drama milieu.

The series debuted on Friday, Oct. 5 with an eight-episode first season. But as we all know, it can be frustrating to fall in love with a show, only to have it never see a second season. So will Netflix be producing another season of Elite? At first Netflix didn't want to comment one way or another, likely because the streaming giant wanted

Harry and Meghan kept their relationship a secret for nearly six months before news finally broke that the two were dating, which is why their latest appearance at the 2018 Invictus Games is so special. On Saturday, Meghan and Harry were all smiles when they stepped out in Sydney, Australia, for the seven-day sporting event. They began their day getting stuck in at the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge, where they both sported Invictus Games shirts. They later put in a glamorous appearance at the opening ceremony, where Harry made a touching speech where he praised the competing nations, and thanked the Australian people for their hospitality, referencing Meghan's pregnancy, when he said "we have been so happy to be able celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with all of you.

The Disturbing Twists Revealed in The Killing of Jessica Chambers--and Why the Case Still Captivates

Justice continues to elude the family of Jessica Chambers. A second murder trial in the Mississippi teen's 2014 death ended on Oct. 1 with a hung jury, just as the first trial did a year ago. Chambers' accused killer, Quinton Tellis, remains in prison while he serves out a five-year sentence for an unrelated burglary conviction, and he's also facing charges in the 2016 stabbing death of 34-year-old Meing-Chen Hsiao, an exchange student at the University of Louisiana, Monroe. His supporters, including his mother and a group of dedicated protesters who reliably gathered outside the Batesville, Miss., courthouse every day, felt relieved, if not particularly...
