Prince Harry Shares a Deeply Personal Moment With a Widow After Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge

Prince Harry Shares a Deeply Personal Moment With a Widow After Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tour of Australia is more than just receiving gifts and praise from adoring fans. It's also about getting the chance to connect with people on a personal level, which is precisely what Prince Harry did on Friday when he scaled the Sydney Harbour Bridge alongside Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Invictus Games competitors. One of those competitors who joined the Duke of Sussex in climbing the bridge was 41-year-old Gwen Cherne, who lost her husband and Australian special forces officer Peter J. Cafe to suicide in February 2017.

Harry and Gwen spoke for about 10 minutes about a number of topics, including the experiences of loss and grief. Harry, who lost his mother, Princess Diana, at the age of 12, comforted Gwen while they talked. "He understood what I meant. When you understand loss, I think it's obvious," Gwen said in an interview with People. "He

The Flash Is Definitely Getting His Own Movie, but We Won't See It For Quite a Long Time
While Justice League was mostly a flop (due in part to Superman's weirdly CGI'd face), there was one thing that many fans and nonfans alike could agree on: Ezra Miller is simply delightful as the slightly awkward but nonetheless endearing Barry Allen aka the Flash. Whether it was good writing, Miller's supreme comic timing, or a mixture of both, it's hard to watch the film without feeling at least a little bit charmed by the character. That's why you might be pleased to know a standalone film starring the Flash is, indeed, in the works. The bad news is that it's a ways off. The goods news is we have a bunch of exciting details to satiate your hunger.

1. The Title

Instead of naming the film after the hero, this project is actually called Flashpoint. It's based on a comic book of the same name that totally changed the

There's 1 Important Rule That Keeps Most Royals From Adopting Children

  • Popsugar
Royals adopting dogs? Totally acceptable (and totally adorable). But what about royals adopting children? Before the news of Meghan Markle's pregnancy made headlines, there were rumors that Meghan and Prince Harry might consider adopting, given Meghan's age and the couple's philanthropic interests. Though no one in the British royal family is adopted or has ever adopted a child, would Meghan and Harry have been allowed to do so?

It may go against the traditions of the British monarchy, but there is no law against a royal family member adopting a child. However, by law, the Act of Settlement states that succession to the throne is a blood descendant only. Adopted children are not given succession rights, because in order to occupy the throne, you must be a Protestant descendant of the Electress Sophia, the mother of

Riverdale: Archie and the Gang Transform Into Their Parents in the Retro Flashback Episode

Riverdale: Archie and the Gang Transform Into Their Parents in the Retro Flashback Episode
Things are about to get very interesting on Riverdale! This season, the younger cast will be playing their parents in the highly anticipated flashback episode, and the photos are blowing our minds.

While Kj Apa and Cole Sprouse are dead-ringers for their onscreen dads, Luke Perry and Skeet Ulrich, we completely lost it when we saw Lili Reinhart as a young Mädchen Amick. While Alice Cooper is usually pretty reserved in present day, it looks like we'll be seeing a whole new wild side of her in the flashback. "Young Alice is so different from the Alice that you see today," Reinhart told Entertainment Weekly. "She's not just this uptight, precocious, looks-down-upon-everyone teen - like she was a Serpent. So that gives her young personality a lot."

The episode, which will focus on the Gargoyle King mystery, will also include an appearance from Mark Consuelos's real-life son Michael. The

Marvel Has Reportedly Pushed Production For Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to 2021

The Marvel universe was forced to do a bit of restructuring after Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was fired when some of his inappropriate tweets from a decade ago resurfaced. Although Marvel will reportedly still use Gunn's script, we're waiting to see who will take his place as director. Now it seems Marvel has reportedly given itself more time to decide who that replacement will be. According to a new listings report from Production Weekly, the beginning of production was pushed to February 2021.

The movie was originally set to begin filming in February 2019 with hopes that it'd be out sometime in 2020. But if production really has been moved to 2021, then we'll have to wait even longer until we see our intergalactic protectors back in action. Nonetheless, we're still holding out hope that they're able to stick with the original date to start filming. After all, the fate of the galaxy depends on it.

The Whole Ordeal Began With Human Skeletons

One of the most famous scenes features JoBeth Williams's character, Diane, falling into the family's pool, and it's filled with skeletons. You might not know that those skeletons are actually real - the actors sure didn't. "In my innocence and naiveté, I assumed that these were not real skeletons,

Pack Your Bags For Aldovia, Because A Christmas Prince 2 Finally Has a Premiere Date

Are you ready for more Amber and Richard? I sure hope so, because Netflix's sequel to A Christmas Prince, officially titled A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding, will be streaming for your viewing - and cringing - pleasure before you know it.

As you might recall, the unintentionally hilarious holiday romance, set in a fictitious European nation called Aldovia, became a holiday sensation almost immediately after its release last year. And, as you probably also recall, you can't hide guilty pleasures from Netflix. Despite its title, you shouldn't expect the sequel to live up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle-worthy nuptials - after all, this is a continuation of a movie that shows a grand coronation that's decorated with all the splendor of the sad New Year's Eve "party" I threw in junior high . . . for four friends . . . in my basement.

That being said, I truly can't wait for more!

Roseanne Barr Is Not Pleased With the "Morbid" Way The Conners Killed Off Her Character

Roseanne Barr Is Not Pleased With the
The Conners premiered its first episode on Tuesday night, finally putting to rest any speculation about how the Roseanne spinoff deals with the absence of Roseanne Barr's titular character.

Barr's initial reboot of the show was of course axed by ABC after a string of vile, racist tweets and abrasive behavior from the 65-year-old, and she revealed during an interview a few weeks before the The Conners premiere that the show planned on killing off Roseanne Conner via opioid overdose. Now that we know that is indeed how the character dies - she overdoses on medication prescribed to her following knee surgery - Barr is speaking out about how disappointed she is with the twist in a joint statement with her Rabbi, Shmuley Boteach.

"While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of The Conners, all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne's cherished colleagues,

Get ready to say goodbye to another Marvel show. After canceling Iron Fist last week, Netflix has decided to cancel Luke Cage after two seasons. "Unfortunately, Marvel's Luke Cage will not return for a third season," Netflix and Marvel said in a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem's Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series." According to THR, the cancellation was due to "creative differences and the inability to agree to terms for a third season of the show."

Even though we won't get to see Mike Colter as Luke Cage anytime soon, there are still a few Marvel shows on Netflix to binge-watch. While Jessica Jones was renewed for season three in April, Daredevil released its third season on Oct.

It's Not a Rule, but Royals Usually Don't Hold Hands Due to This 1 Important Reason
Along with shutting their own car doors, holding hands is one of those activities that royals purportedly should not engage in, but that is more of an unspoken expectation than an actual royal protocol. Pda in general is considered uncouth among the royals, and even though it's clear that there is affection between Prince William and Kate Middleton, you'll rarely see the two cuddling up in public. There are exceptions, of course, such as at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding, but largely William and Kate leave the Pda to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are never shy about showing off their love.
