Maisie Williams Filmed Her Final ‘Game of Thrones’ Scene Solo: ‘Arya’s Always Bloody Alone’
Maisie Williams is done playing the girl with no name, having wrapped her role as the “Game of Thrones” vicious teen assassin, Arya Stark, back in July. Though she teased her final bow with a picture when she was done, Williams has now given some solid hints about how her face-shifting character might go out when the show’s eighth and final season airs next year — and it’s pretty sweet, if not lonely.

Williams told The Guardian in an interview published Wednesday that her last “Game of Thrones” shoot was “beautiful,” and she “ended on the perfect scene.” However, spoiler alert, the actress said it was nothing out of the ordinary in terms of who she was acting with — which was nobody.

“I was alone – shocker!” Williams said. “Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill,

Now, at the age of 84, Spinney told the New York Times that he is retiring from “Sesame Street” after nearly half a century playing some of the show’s most iconic characters. Come Thursday, Spinney will enter the “Sesame Street” studios in Astoria, Queens for the last time

Roseanne Barr Releases Official Statement on Being Killed Off ‘The Conners,’ Slams ABC for ‘Grim and Morbid’ Decision

Roseanne Barr Releases Official Statement on Being Killed Off ‘The Conners,’ Slams ABC for ‘Grim and Morbid’ Decision
[Warning: If you can’t tell by the headline above, spoilers follow.]

ABC’s “Roseanne” spinoff “The Conners” kicked off its season premiere with confirmation that the character once played by Roseanne Barr had been killed off the series after suffering an opioid overdose from pills she was taking to treat a knee injury. Barr took to her Twitter page for an instant reaction to her character’s fate following the conclusion of the episode, defiantly tweeting, “I Ain’T Dead, Bitches!!!!” The actress then published a longer, more official statement along with her rabbi, Shmuley Boteach.

“While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of ‘The Conners,’ all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne’s cherished colleagues, we regret that ABC chose to cancel Roseanne by killing off the Roseanne Conner character,” Barr and Boteach wrote. “That it was done through an opioid overdose lent an unnecessary grim and morbid dimension to an otherwise happy family show.

In Case You Haven't Heard, Mallory Might Be the Most Important Character on Ahs: Apocalypse
If there's anything we've learned from watching several seasons of American Horror Story, it's that everything matters. Whether it's allusions to an overarching theme, clues to a grand theory, or callbacks to another season, nothing is simply a throwaway. So when presented with a mystery like Apocalypse's Mallory, we have to look at everything presented to figure out exactly what's behind that Cindy Lou Who topknot. Is Mallory just a powerful witch, or is she a great deal more?

So far, everything we've seen of Mallory points to her being a witch with an interesting set of abilities. Myrtle even suggests that Cordelia consider Mallory as the next Supreme, which serves as incredibly high praise from the older witch since she's seen a few Supremes in her day. But there's more to Mallory than just her powers - her entire imagery preapocalypse gives us angelic vibes. From her innocent persona,

Meghan Markle Proudly Wore a Pasta Necklace Given to Her by a Cute Kid
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had no shortage of sweet interactions with kids during their trip to Australia, but the most recent one might just top them all. While greeting the crowds along Government House Drive in Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens, Meghan spotted a young boy named Gavin who was holding a sign saying "I made you a necklace." Crouching down to meet him, she happily accepted the handmade gift and put it on immediately.

According to News.com.au, Gavin made the necklace from pasta dipped in gold paint, and while it's worlds away from Meghan's usual accessory choices (which often come courtesy of Princess Diana's jewelry box), we reckon she pulls off the statement piece perfectly. Meghan continued to wear it as she and Harry worked the crowds, shaking hands and dishing out hugs in their continued efforts to wave goodbye to old-fashioned royal protocol. Take

The Conners Premiere Confirms the Dark Way Roseanne Barr's Character Is Killed Off

The Conners Premiere Confirms the Dark Way Roseanne Barr's Character Is Killed Off
Ever since Roseanne Barr's racist tweets got the reboot of her '90s comedy Roseanne canceled on ABC, fans of the family sitcom have been wondering one thing: how will the spinoff, The Conners, work without her? Now we finally have an answer, thanks to the show's Oct. 16 premiere.

Warning: spoilers for the first episode of The Conners ahead!

The episode, "Keep on Truckin," picks up just three weeks after Roseanne's season 10 finale, finding the remaining Conners sitting at the kitchen table. Although the family initially believes that the Conner matriarch passed away due to a complication from her knee surgery, it's eventually revealed by the Coroner's Office autopsy that Roseanne overdosed on opioids.

At first Dan (John Goodman) is reluctant to accept this as her cause of death, choosing to blame her unexpected demise on her body's inability to handle such a serious surgery on top of her myriad of other health problems.

Prince Harry Found Meghan Markle's Mini Me in Sydney, So They Took a Super-Rare Selfie
The royals are used to sticking by strict protocol, but every so often they break the rules for a special reason. It's rare for the royal family to go beyond a handshake upon meeting someone, and they usually don't take selfies or give out autographs, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a few exceptions while meeting fans during their tour of Australia.

While greeting the crowd, Harry noticed a young fan wearing a "Girls Can Do Anything" t-shirt and immediately brought her to Meghan's attention. "Can I take a picture of you two together?" he asked. As Harry queued up the camera for a rare selfie, a woman told Meghan they thought the girl "looks a bit like you," to which the duchess replied, "I was literally about to say the same thing!"

This young fan wasn't the only one to break Harry and Meghan from their traditional ways.

How Making a Murderer Turned Us All Into Detectives, Judges and Juries

The makers of Making a Murderer didn't set out to trigger a crime wave. As far as our viewing habits go, that is. "I think people are responding to the series because it really engages with the question of 'how do we define justice?'" Laura Ricciardi, who directed, produced and wrote the docu-series with Moira Demos, told E! News at the 2016 Webby Awards, held about six months after it became apparent that following the twisted, tragic road that led to Steven Avery being convicted of murder had become a national pastime. "So, you know, in that regard I think it's understandable that people would be engaging and having lots of emotions about the...

Why Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Will Always Share a Deep Connection

Why Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Will Always Share a Deep Connection
"When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it's a love that never really dies." Three years have passed since Justin Bieber first proclaimed to Billboard that he and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez remained intrinsically, perhaps permanently, linked, and yet his words still ring relevant. It doesn't matter that he's now a married man, pledging his fidelity to Hailey Baldwin—a woman who's also been woven into the fabric of his formative years—in a New York City courthouse last month. Nor is it significant that Gomez told all of her pals that her most recent breakup with Bieber this March, just months before he took up...

But then after three albums, Allen disappeared. She got married, had children, dabbled in a clothing business and seemed to shun the attention she once basked in. You'd be forgiven for thinking she had chosen domestic bliss over chart domination. And who could blame her? After a string of...

Impossible Ego, Shifting Politics and Zero Filter: Inside 30 Years of Roseanne Barr and All That She's Put Us Through
Roseanne Barr will not go gently into that good night. The Conners may have killed off the iconic character of Roseanne Conner in ABC's quest to keep her show alive without having her involved whatsoever, a move made possible when she agreed to relinquish all control and involvement in the future of the series after her toxic Twitter behavior brought the successful revival to a swift cancellation, threatening the jobs of hundreds, but that doesn't mean that the brash Barr is going to just sit idly by as it happens. Already, she's attacked the story choice as "cynical and horrible" when she spoiled it a month ago, reminded her Twitter followers "I Ain't Dead,...

Eight Times Meghan Markle Proved She's No Pampered Princess
Back in May, when Meghan Markle stepped inside the flower-lined nave of St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Queen Elizabeth II's Berkshire residence, Windsor Castle, she was a retired actress with L.A. roots and a Toronto address.
