Bella Thorne Says Freeform Executives Told Her She Was ‘Ugly’ in Emails and On ‘Famous in Love’ Set
Bella Thorne spoke out against Freeform in a wide-ranging interview with the Los Angeles Times. The actress starred in the lead role of the network’s “Famous in Love,” which was created by “Pretty Little Liars” showrunner I. Marlene King and cancelled after a two-season run. Thorne told the Times the network viewed her as “uncontrollable and crazy” and branded her as a diva “because they were scared I was going to go running my mouth if I was upset.”

Thorne also accused unnamed Freeform executives of calling her ugly at various points during the production of the series. “One issue is when you have a girl, a young girl who is on your show, you can’t tell her that she’s ugly or she’s fat or she’s this or she’s that because that’s going to make her feel bad,” Thorne said.

When asked who called her ugly,

What Are the Invictus Games? Here's What You Need to Know About Prince Harry's Annual Event
The fourth annual Invictus Games officially kick off in Sydney, Australia on Oct. 20, but before we go any further, you might be wondering what the Invictus Games are all about. After serving in Afghanistan, Prince Harry was introduced to the Warrior Games during a trip to the Us in 2013. He made it his mission to create an event similar to it that used sports to help aid the physical, psychological, and social recovery of active-duty soldiers and veterans, and as a result, Harry launched the seven-day sporting event in September 2014. The title comes from the Latin word "invictus," meaning unconquered or undefeated, and the competition features more than 550 competitors from 17 nations and a dozen sports, including archery, cycling, golf, indoor rowing, and wheelchair basketball.

Sarah Paulson Is the F*cking Supreme, and She Also Happens to Be a Stellar Director
This week's episode of American Horror Story puts Sarah Paulson in a role she's never before attempted: director. That's right, the living legend slipped behind the scenes for "Return to Murder House." I'm here to make it clear, she completely nailed it. And as if simply directing a stellar episode of Ahs wasn't enough, Paulson also revealed quite a few exciting tidbits about the whole ordeal in a new interview with Variety. For instance, she only had one week to psych herself up for the task.

Paulson revealed that creator Ryan Murphy had initially asked her to direct the season's eighth episode but switched her to the sixth at the last moment. The switch-up meant she had just about a week to prepare. "I thought, 'Don't let your fear of failure stand in your way. It's never worked for you before to shy away from something because you're afraid,'" she said.

Lauren Conrad's 2018 Halloween Costume Is For the Birds . . . Literally

Lauren Conrad's 2018 Halloween Costume Is For the Birds . . . Literally
Lauren Conrad is without a doubt one of the queens of Halloween costumes, and this year, her crown takes the form of crows. On Thursday, the author and designer revealed her costume for this year, and it's a throwback to Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 film The Birds. Donning bird hair ornaments and faint red streaks, Lauren is channeling the protagonist of the movie, Melanie Daniels, and the scene in which Melanie is brutally overcome by a horde of bloodthirsty birds.

Lauren describes the costume on her website, writing, " As seen on the movie poster, my costume depicts the famous bird attack that leaves Ms. Daniels terrified and full of bird scratches." She also dressed her 1-year-old son Liam in an adorable bird costume to complete the homage. If you want to re-create this gorgeously gory look, you can follow Lauren's Diy instructions on her blog.

It's the Circle of a Live-Action Remake - Here's a First Look at the Cast of The Lion King

Ever since Disney announced the cast for The Lion King remake, we've been patiently waiting to get a few first-look photos of the star-studded team. Thankfully, Seth Rogen, who will play Pumbaa, gave the people what they wanted and posted a photo with a couple of his castmates: Donald Glover, who will play Simba, and Billy Eichner, who will play Timon. The three posed alongside director Jon Favreau in the snapshot. Rogen simply captioned the photo with lion and crown emoji.

Rogen, Glover, and Eichner will fight for Simba's kingdom in 2019 with Beyoncé as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, and John Oliver as Zazu. If ever there was an all-star cast, this right here is it. When we heard there would be a Lion King remake, we were really hoping it wouldn't ruin such an amazing classic, but with these phenomenal actors and entertainers, we can comfortably say hakuna matata.

Every Important Detail You Need to Remember From the Original Halloween

Every Important Detail You Need to Remember From the Original Halloween
Halloween is one of the most complicated franchises out there, so you'll have to forgive me for breathing a sigh of relief when news broke that the latest movie would be a direct sequel to the original 1978 film. The new film, also simply titled Halloween, is asking audiences to forget the nine other sequels and reboots that came out between 1981 and 2009 - so no need to remember how many times homicidal maniac Michael Myers has "died" over the years.

As we've seen in the trailer, Halloween picks up four decades after Laurie's daring escape from the masked killer. If it's been a while since you've seen the original, now is a perfect time to rewatch it. But if you don't have the time, let me fill you in. Here's a beat-for-beat recap of the 1978 horror classic. Keep this in mind when you go to see the new one!

How the New Charmed Updates the Fashion Sense of the Original

How the New Charmed Updates the Fashion Sense of the Original
The original Charmed was known for many things—enviable magical powers, badass women, off-screen drama—but one thing people could never get over were the clothes. The Charmed sisters looked fabulous (90s fabulous) at all times, even when it was totally impractical to do so. Crop tops and heels were perfect demon-fighting attire, no matter how much running those women had to do. Mandi Line is not only the costume designer on the CW's new iteration of the three witch sisters, but she also worked on the original. When E! News visited the Vancouver set of the series, she filled us in on how she updated the looks for 2018...even if she's still fighting for running in heels. "The...

Halloween Doesn't Have a Postcredits Scene, but There Is Something Lurking at the Very End

Halloween Doesn't Have a Postcredits Scene, but There Is Something Lurking at the Very End
The latest entry into the Halloween franchise is gory, clever, and surprisingly funny, with plenty of nods to the original. The 2018 edition of the classic horror tale sees Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) older, but perhaps not altogether wiser, having devoted the entirety of her life to preparing for the one day she eventually faces down the serial killer who destroyed her childhood: Michael Myers. One glimpse of the trailer should be enough to clue you in on the fact that yes, Michael escapes the psychiatric asylum where he's been held and goes on yet another bloody rampage through Haddonfield - with disastrous results.

Once the heads have stopped rolling, however, should you stick around for a postcredits scene? Fortunately for you, I sat through the lengthy list of credits to find out if some bonus footage was lurking at the end, much like a butcher knife-wielding, bloodthirsty lunatic. The short answer is: no!

1 Jump Scare in The Haunting of Hill House Is So Terrifying, Even the Cast Is Scarred

1 Jump Scare in The Haunting of Hill House Is So Terrifying, Even the Cast Is Scarred
If you're a horror movie fan, then chances are you've had a heated discussion about jump scares at some point. Whether you love them or hate them, they've become a staple of the genre. You know the drill: the swell of creepy music, the building tension, and then an explosive burst of sound and movement that makes your heart skip a beat and jolts people upright in their seats. For some, this can be seen as a manipulative tactic - if you have to rely on freaking out an audience with a loud noise, can that be considered a genuine scare? Or is it merely a cheap ploy used in lieu of taking the time to figure out how to actually leave someone with lasting terror?

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of jump scares. I'm much more likely to find myself laying awake at night thinking about a creepy

Words matter. And nobody knows that more than Jonah Hill. While fans may know the actor from his comedic movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Superbad and more, the Hollywood star is branching out with his latest film titled Mid90s. The passion project has allowed Jonah to explore his childhood. As it turns out, it wasn't always so glamorous like the red carpets he walks on. "How they could speak to me, how they could treat me…" But while writing and directing...
