Elizabeth Carlile was born in San Diego, California. Her mother, Kathleen O'Sullivan, grew up in Washington D.C. Elizabeth's maternal grandmother worked at the White House and her maternal grandfather was a Naval Officer. Her father, Douglas Hendricks, a United States Marine, grew up on a dairy farm in rural Minnesota, and later studied theater at Oxford University. Elizabeth grew up on the road with her parents and three siblings, spending part of her childhood overseas in Okinawa, Japan. She often performed in school plays and musicals, and engaged in one-act competitions while living in Alexandria, Virginia. That early exposure to performance under pressure later came in handy for her unexpected role as Tiffany in True Lies (2022). Her family moved to Brainerd, Minnesota when she was an adolescent. She later enrolled at the University of Minnesota, where she studied French and Global Studies. Shortly afterward she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a career in law, but always desired a career in the creative arts instead. In 2018, she created the now Top 1% podcast Motherhood Unstressed, and has interviewed notable guests such as Producer Phil Rosenthal, Comedian/Director Eugene Mirman, and Actress Marisol Nichols. Establishing her brand in audio and voiceover work first, led to acting in television programs and then feature films. Through stand-in and photo doubling opportunities, she was able to move up and give memorable performances in Harold and the Purple Crayon (2022) and CBS' True Lies (2022). Elizabeth lives with her two children and husband in Atlanta, Georgia.
