Flynn is a multi-talented actor with a background in stage and screen performance. Flynn was born in London and grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. He has a deep passion for music, and as a band member and session musician proficient in playing the piano and guitar, and serving as a backup vocalist, it greatly enhances his understanding of the musicality inherent in each character he embodies.
Flynn had the privilege of attending England's LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) Shakespeare Summer School, an eight-week program. At LAMDA, Flynn's stage credits included notable performances as Tranio in "The Taming of the Shrew" and Cardinal & Antonio in "The Duchess of Malfi", demonstrating his talent and dedication to the craft.
Upon returning to his home country, Flynn embraced opportunities to work in leading roles with several Sydney film schools before attending the esteemed NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art).
In 2021, Flynn graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) from NIDA. His stage credits at NIDA exemplify his versatility as an actor, as he portrayed diverse characters such as being cast in "Love and Information", Fischer in "Metamorphosis", Rodolpho in "A View from the Bridge", Azazello in "Master and Margarita", Vanya in "Uncle Vanya", Bassanio in "Merchant of Venice", and Quick in "Cloudstreet". These roles demonstrate Flynn's ability to immerse himself in a wide range of characters and bring them to life on stage.
Since Flynn graduated from NIDA, he has taken on various roles, such as portraying Albert Koch in the stage play "Hydrarchos", Cyril in the stage play "The Decay of Lying", and Reverend Samuel Marsden/Major Edmund Lockyer in "Forgotten".
