Roman Holtwick is a self taught director and photographer born in Solingen, Germany.
As he has always been interested in cameras and making his first video clips as a teenager he started to learn the photo manipulation software Photoshop.
He purchased his first professional DSLR camera (a Canon 650D) in late 2012 and started learning photography by eye and from online tutorials how to use it professionally.
In 2015 he started doing photography for a living with the goal to slowly get into music videos and art films. By the end of 2016 he was filming and editing first music videos for local bands and rappers, in 2017 he started working on several scripts for short films and networking to young actors who were willing to create with him. In July 2017 he filmed his first short "Quiddity" which was released in October 2017.
