He is a Bonified member of ForbesBLK International community, YALI NETWORK (Young African Leaders Institute) owned by Barrack Obama and DGN (directors Guild of Nigeria).

In 2020, Umanu Elijah received an international recognition from the UNITED NATIONS educational, scientific and cultural organisation, (UNESCO) for his active participation against dis- and misinformation via his COVID 19 Film project.

He is one of Africa's leading prolific and most decorated filmmaker whose role in the movie industry with series of works across Netflix, Amazon Primevideo and across several international platform.

He has an international degree in Digital storytelling from Birmingham University and Cinematic filmmaking from the British council. He is the founder of Krystal Filmworks Ltd, Nigeria's leading Film/TV production house that comprises of Africa's finest young Creatives. He has been part of several Nollywood blockbuster such as ALMAJIRI, Devil in Agbada, The Millions (Netflix), Made In Heaven, SHE IS..., LOUD the movie, Locked, Bitter Rain, "A place called forward, E.t.c... He has received notable awards and recognition from UNESCO, AMVCA, AFRIFF, AMAA, Best of Nollywood Award, NewYork Film festival, NTFF Berlin Germany, NGOIFF kenya, SIFF Moldova, PB22 world summit USA, and others.
