Melissa Del Rosario is a Producer, Director, & Writer in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is the owner of the production company Rose Ray Media LLC. Melissa also specializes in Script Supervising, Production Coordinator, Location Manager, and Talent Liaison work. Her work has been official winners at various university film competitions, along with official selections at film festivals around the world to include: Dances with Films, Urbanworld, Bentonville Film Festival, Cinquest Film and Creativity Festival, Ashland Independent Film Festival, Disorient Asian Film Festival, Film Threat's Award This, Dam Short Film Festival, Lady Filmmakers Film Festival, We Are Indie Horror Film Festival, Sin City Horror Festival, Grand Foundation Film Festival, International Mad Lab Slam, International Film Festival Manhattan, Le Official Short Film Corner at the Marche Du Cannes & Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the American Pavilion in the Marche Du Cannes Film Festival.
Melissa is an Alumni from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies. Also known for being the first UNLV undergraduate student to produce and sell a feature film "Take Out Girl" before graduation (2021). She was a previous president of Cinefemmes at UNLV, which is a student organization with an emphasis on promoting women in the film industry, founded by UNLV women filmmakers with the goal of creating and developing a space of support for UNLV filmmakers in the pursuit of their careers. The mission of Cinefemmes at the core is to provide guidance, knowledge, opportunity, support and inspiration to the UNLV film community; with the goal of Cinefemmes as serving UNLV filmmakers with a bridge to opportunities. While Melissa was the president of Cinefemmes, she curated a screening collaboration and monthly networking event for students to screen their work in a professional setting at Eclipse Theaters, a luxury movie theater in Las Vegas.
Melissa enjoys supporting local filmmakers and her local film community. She volunteers her time to aid local film festivals such as Nevada Women's Film Festival, the Las Vegas Film Festival, & recently the 48 Hour Film Project - Las Vegas. Melissa is also the Brand Ambassador at Eclipse Theaters, where she hosts monthly screenings and networking events in Las Vegas to promote the Las Vegas film community and local filmmakers.
