Tommy Banks(III)

The Honourable Tommy Banks was awarded the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on April 19, 1991 and invested on: October 30, 1991 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His versatility as a pianist, conductor, arranger, composer and television personality has touched all aspects of the music scene in Canada and Edmonton in particular. His life is music and his business is entertainment and, as the founding Chairman of the Alberta Foundation for the Performing Arts, he worked tirelessly to ensure that other musicians and performers would receive exposure throughout the country.
