Eulone Gooding

Eulone Zenobia Gooding, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a dynamic force in the world of dance and theater. Raised by her dedicated and supportive mother, Harriet Gooding, Eulone's early years were marked by a profound passion for the arts. At fourteen, her family relocated to Iowa City, where Eulone's journey into the world of performance truly began. Enrolling at City High School, she honed her craft and went on to study dance at the University of Iowa. Eulone's exceptional talent and determination led her to earn a B.F.A. in dance in 2003.

With her degree in hand, Eulone moved to New York City, where she attended a prestigious summer program at the Alvin Ailey Dance School. Her time in NYC proved transformative, as she immersed herself in the vibrant dance community while also exploring her love for theater. Eulone's professional career took flight when she taught and created a dance program at Hackley Private School, where she also choreographed critically acclaimed musicals including *The Who's Tommy*, *Cabaret*, and *Once on This Island*.

Eulone's transition to acting was marked by her rigorous training with industry veterans Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at the Barrow Group in NYC. As a founding member and former president of the Core Artist Ensemble, a renowned NYC theater company, she played a pivotal role in shaping its artistic vision and success.

In addition to her stage work, Eulone has made notable appearances on television, including on Law & Order: SVU. Her talent and charisma have also been showcased in various commercial campaigns, including Blink Eyedrops, Giant Eagle Grocery Store, Care.com, and Bob's Furniture.
