Julia is an award-nominated documentary director. Her work has been broadcast in the UK and internationally and screened at international film festivals and at the Institute of Contemporary Art London. Her films have been nominated for the Grierson Awards and the RTSS TV Awards. Her work has been supported by the British Film Institute and she has been commissioned to direct original work for UK TV.
She has also produced and directed documentary series for Sky History and BBC Earth and worked with film teams internationally in Japan, India, Germany and the UK.
