Sydney Morgan Currie can be classified as a vivacious pistol in a small yet mighty package, but most importantly a rebel with a cause. She is known as an Actress, Writer, and Award-Winning Director. Sydney received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in the first Inaugural class of Hussian College In Studio. Sydney is from Queens, New York, and Delaware where she attended the prestigious Cab Calloway School of the Arts in Theater.

The film's success earned Sydney invited speaking engagements at The Silicon Valley African Film Festival. Best Performance Piece at the Micheaux Film Festival, and selected winner of The Breaking Walls Down Mentorship program with Cinema Femme Magazine. The film's success led her in creating a documentary based on the making of the film to be also selected in film festivals, The Return: The Making of Hues and Hidden Kings
