Chehek Bilgi is a cinematographer and a member of the Indian Women Cinematographer Collective (IWCC). Her work spans feature films, short films, advertisements documentaries, many of which have gained recognition at national and international film festivals. She won an award for cinematography on the stop-motion film Religion for Dummies at the Southern Shorts Award, Georgia, USA, and her short film Karma Café was a finalist for Best Fantasy Short Film at the Shorted Film Awards and known for lighting and camera work.
Her feature films Vrutti and Naanu Ladies won multiple awards, including the Audience Choice Best Feature Film award at the DC South Asian Film Festival. Her documentary on solar energy was screened at the Unfccc Cop 25 in Madrid and film Gender, Climate, Economic Justice was screened at Csw68 and other prominent platforms; reflecting her dedication to using visual storytelling to explore themes like climate change, gender identity, and sustainable development.
