Trace De La Torre is an accomplished Executive and Film Producer, best known for her work on the award-winning feature film, "Bezos: The Beginning" (2023), produced with SpanglishMedia and repped by Vision Films.
Trace began her media career at Warner Bros. Studios where she dedicated a decade to supporting some of the most iconic film and television properties of our time, including "The Matrix"; "Harry Potter"; "The Lord of the Rings"; "The Ocean's" (Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen); "Miss Congeniality/Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous"; "Two Weeks Notice"; " The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"; "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"; "Beowulf"; "The Dark Knight"; "Constantine"; "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"; "Troy"; "A.I."; "I am Legend"; "V for Vendetta"; "Superman Returns"; "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines"; "The Last Samurai"; "Blood Diamond"; "Slum Dog Millionaire"; "Two-and-a-Half Men"; "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"; and "The Big Bang Theory", among many others during her tenure.
After a decade at the studio, Trace spent two years abroad in London as a publishing executive immersed in the world of comics partnering with media leaders and successfully driving their brand across international markets spanning 10+ countries.
Always hungry for the next great story and leveraging her extensive industry experience, she founded Trace Entertainment, an independent production company encompassing art, e-publishing, film, AR/VR content as well as media consulting for various film festivals and markets, including Sundance, and Cannes. In 2023, it was rebranded as Trace Media, LLC.
By 2013 in association with Orange Mangrove Publishing UK, Trace had published four Paranormal Romance Novellas via Amazon. Written by British author James D. Layton, these Novellas include "Letters to an Angel", "Sisters of Absinthe: The Velveteen Girl", "Sisters of Absinthe: Jack Sutherland", and "Sisters of Absinthe: The Green Lamp".
In 2016, with the collaboration of a talented crew of filmmakers from the Inland Empire, now known collectively as Los Angeles-based Wild7 Studios, Trace started production on her debut short horror film, "Luna." This neo-noir vampire origins thriller, inspired by true events, underwent a lengthy production process and was ultimately completed on September 18, 2022. Details regarding its release date will be announced in the future.
In July 2017, Trace assumed the role of Executive Producer for "The Protégé," a finalist in the AT&T/Warner SHAPE film competition, directed by filmmaker Lovie Johnson. "The Protégé" stands as a poignant outreach film addressing issues of violence against women, children, and human trafficking. It has received notable recognition within the industry, accompanied by numerous awards.
In the Fall of 2017, Trace teamed up with Director Dale Fabrigar as Executive Producer on the short horror film "Lullaby". Written by prolific horror author, Marc Paoletti, "Lullaby" was completed in October 2017 and won multiple film awards, in addition to being an Official Selection at Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis's female-centric Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) in April 2018.
The BIFF Institute is the only global research-based organization working collectively within the industry to create gender balance, foster inclusion, and reduce negative stereotyping in entertainment media. Founder, Geena Davis chairs BIFF together with Trevor Drinkwater -- a former Warner Bros. alumnus who formed part of Trace's extended studio family.
In May 2018, Trace re-teamed with Dale as Associate Producer on her first feature film "D-Railed", featuring a cameo by Lance Henriksen from the "Alien" film franchise. Production was completed in September 2018.
"D-Railed" is a suspense thriller from esteemed industry producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis and award-winning director Dale Fabrigar. It screened in Los Angeles on September 30th, and Philadelphia on October 7th, making the rounds at the 2018 American Film Market in Santa Monica. It was an Official Selection of the 2018 New York City Horror Film Festival and had its Red Carpet release on December 1st at The Tribeca Film Center in Manhattan. It was released on multiple streamers and Retail Direct on August 6, 2019. To date, "D-Railed" has earned over 100+ film awards and nominations and continues to rack up global sales.
In June 2019, Trace embarked on production for the psychological thriller "Todd" in Orlando, Florida. Headlined by Hans Hernke of "Attack of the Unknown" (2020) and iconic 80s Actor/Comedian Michael Winslow of "Police Academy" (1984-1994) and "Spaceballs" (1987), "Todd" delves into the unsettling journey of a man consumed by his inner demons.
The project wrapped in August 2019 and premiered for U.S. streamers on March 16, 2021, through Bayview Entertainment. "Todd" received recognition as an Official Selection at the Horror Lust Film Festival and the Popcorn International Film Festival, while also making appearances at various other film festivals. It expanded its reach to the United Kingdom on April 19, 2021, through DVD and VOD releases.
In November 2019, Trace collaborated with Indonesian action film director Benny Tjandra and Japanese writer/director Doug Tochioka as Executive Producer on the female-led action film, "Prey of Wrath" (formerly known as "Lady Spetsnaz").
Inspired by Lyudmilla Pavilchenko, the world's deadliest female sniper, "Prey of Wrath" stars rising Russian actress and influencer Tatiana Neva, alongside Russian Actor and Martial Artist Gray Michael Sallies, and legendary action icon Cynthia Rothrock.
Cynthia Rothrock, known as "The Dragon Lady," in the martial arts community, boasts a formidable career with over 30 films and a global following. She holds the distinction of being the first woman inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dr. Robert Goldman. Additionally, she was honored with induction into the Black Belt Hall of Fame alongside Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris and was the first woman to grace the cover of Karate Illustrated.

In January 2021, Trace started production on the sci-fi-fantasy creature action short, "The Hunt: Savage Within," in collaboration with French powerhouse Z-Team Films and director/fight choreographer Fabian Garcia, known for "Die Fighting" (2014) and TV series "Drained World" (2015).
"The Hunt: Savage Within" offers an exhilarating journey through the eerie woods of Northern California, where a female Park Ranger and her formidable troop confront an unearthly threat in a high-octane, edge-of-your-seat action thriller.
Filmed in Santa Cruz, California, the project was completed in January 2021 and premiered on the Red Carpet on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Raleigh Studios Hollywood.
Following its wide release on YouTube on August 20, 2021, the short quickly garnered over 10,000 views and received acclaim in the film festival circuit. It earned multiple awards, including a Hollywood Foreign Press Association Scholarship for promising young directors at the Asian World Film Festival on November 11, 2021, in Beverly Hills, California.

The script, penned by Allison Burnett and R.V. Romero, known for their work on "Autumn in New York" (2000) and "Underworld: Awakening" (2012), is directed by Indonesian filmmaker Khoa Le, acclaimed for "Walt Before Disney" (2015).
