Hope Bartimioli Thal (H.B. Thal) is a Los Angeles-based composer, songwriter, and vocalist. Her most recent work includes the score to, "Plan C," from the lauded 2022 horror film anthology Give Me an A and the lead composer for an unannounced animated series from Mattel. She is a composer & orchestrator for Joy Music House, to which she is credited on critically acclaimed films scores such as, the Oscar-nominated Minari (Emile Mosseri) and The Woman King (Terence Blanchard), as well as the score for At the Heart of Gold (Drum & Lace, Ian Hultquist). Her songs have been used throughout programs from Mattel & MGA and featured on the CW & ESPN. Her scoring work can be heard on Trollstopia, Trolls the Beat Goes On, & the I Heart Arlo Netflix series. She is classically trained and a graduate of the UCLA Film Scoring Program. Her latest pop album, Bloom, can be heard on all streaming platforms on January 27th, 2023.
