Cora is a composer based in London. Before focusing on film scoring, she trained as a concert pianist. She holds an MA in Film Composition from the National Film & Television School, and a BA and MA in Composition from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy. Cora has a vast experience scoring to picture, having worked on a variety of projects including fiction, documentary, animation and video games.
Her score for the dark comedy-drama Lonely Laura and Her Sister Niamh (2019) was nominated for Best Composing at Underwire Film Festival 2019 and the stop motion animated musical Meow or Never (2020) was shortlisted for the 2020 GSA BAFTA Student Film Awards and awarded Best Short Film at Women in Animation Class of 2020 and the Next Generation Award at Digicon 6 Asia. The natural history documentary The Silent Forests (2020) was awarded Special Mention at Gran Paradiso Film Festival and nominated for the Newcomers Award at the Greenscreen International Wildlife Film Festival.
