Neil Lee Griffin is an award-winning composer, born and raised in upstate SC, he grew up with a stutter often having difficulty saying his own name. As a child he always felt music was destined to be his path, in his teens he set out to take piano lessons for a few years, with the knowledge he learned from piano he taught himself to play guitar, and by ear.
In his early twenties he started to write his own material. He was always drawn to movie scores and TV theme songs. It's been said numerous publications that his music would fit well in a Tim Burton film, but he enjoys writing for a variety of genres. Aside from film scoring he also incorporated Score elements into his personal works with his band Antler Hill. Griffin often dresses as a scarecrow when he is performing with his band Antler Hill, to raise awareness for stuttering.
Griffin is also adept at sound design and dialogue editing.
