Paul grew up as a hearing child to two deaf parents and has a total of five deaf family members. He began working as a professional sign language interpreter in 2008. He was the sign language interpreter for CJ Jones in Baby Driver and the sign language consultant for Rampage, starring Dwayne Johnson.
