Ariel Butwyna

Born in 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel moved to Spain with his family in his early teens. After studying Acting at the ESAD Asturias and working with several professional theatre companies, he moved to Madrid in 2012 and trained in Physical Theatre (Lecoq technique). Whilst training he appeared in the tv show "The Avatars" and numerous shorts and features such as "E.C.O.", "El Agujero" and "Bollywood Made in Spain". In Autumn 2014 he moved to London to continue with his training, this time focused on Musical Theatre, at ArtsEd and then graduating with an MA in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, playing the roles of Emcee in "Cabaret" directed by Suzy Catliff and Charlie/Max in "The Pajama Game" at the Greenwich Theatre directed by Cressida Carré. Since then Ariel has filmed a TV pilot, "La Princesa de Woking" with Biscuit Filmworks, and performed in new writing pieces at the Arcola Theatre in "Us and Nick Cave" and at the Bread & Roses Theatre in "Glorious But Brief" directed by Amelia Sciandra. In February 2020 he filmed the TV pilot for the tv show "The Vitches" with Capella Productions.
