Edoardo Montegrandi graduated in scenography at the Fine Arts Academy in Rome. Raised with a passion for puppetry, he is interested in stop motion animation techniques. Following a master's degree in film distribution management, he began working in the cinema as an assistant, production secretary and graphic designer. Later he overcame the selections and he entered the production design course of the Gian Maria Volontè Film Art School.
