He worked as a sound mixer and audio specialist at the White House and the Pentagon. A business manager and creative technician, Carter Boehm established his production company in 2015, naming it Ponderosa Films after a former filmmaking enterprise by his father.
Located in the Washington, DC, suburb of Vienna, Virginia, the rebirth of Ponderosa Films allowed Carter Boehm to executive produce multiple films, including Robert the Bruce, a 2019 historical biopic that features award-winning actor Jared Harris.
