Born in 1994, Simone Bozzelli graduated in media design and multimedia arts at NABA in 2017, and in directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome in 2020. His short film J'ador (2020) won the main award at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica in Venice. In 2021, he directed the music video for Måneskin's I Wanna Be Your Slave, which won for Best Alternative Video at the MTV Music Awards in 2022. His fifth short film, Giochi (2021), premiered at the 74th Locarno Film Festival.
