Anah Ambuchi is a Kenyan-American actress, who at the age of 11yrs old wrote, produced, and directed an award winning short film titled Made In his Image, which was based on her true story about how bullying and colorism affected her.

In her directing debut, Anah hopes she will inspire, encourage, educate, and spark a national conversation on how to decrease the statistics that every seven minutes a child is bullied on the playground, while also discussing and bringing to the forefront the issue of colorism which still is prevalent to this day. Made In His Image has been accepted in multiple national film festivals and made a special international premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival - Diversity in Cannes Short Film and Webseries Showcase.

Anah credits her family and her mentors, Jossie Harris Thacker and legendary Bill Duke to the success of her film, Made In His Image. Anah has also had the honor of sharing her film and speaking at several local organizations, and public schools to encourage kids to spread love, stick up for others who are being bullied and building their self-esteem. Anah can be seen on the hit SHOWTIME series The CHI, Season 2 and is an active member of the African Artist Association, Young Artist Academy, and the Saving Our Daughters Organization.

Anah is truly honored and humbled for every opportunity that she is given. She once met Alfre Woodard who reminded her that good is possible and to always encourage and uplift one another, especially women and girls of color. She aspires to do exactly that as she believes she is being used for a purpose that is bigger than her.
