Rayana Rasamee is a Thai-American cinematographer based in Los Angeles, specializing in narrative, documentary and commercial work. Her visual storytelling expertise is featured in projects for high-profile brands like Valentino, Toyota, Puma, and Planned Parenthood. After transitioning from a decade in tech, Rayana's career accelerated when she was selected for the American Film Institute's Cinematography Intensive for Women (CIW) in 2018 and later completed her MFA in Cinematography at the AFI Conservatory in 2022. Most recently, she was one of four cinematography participants chosen for Issa Rae's ColorCreative 'Find Your People' cohort in 2023.
