Parizo is a former metro Atlanta and Boston high school English teacher and professional musician. He wrote his first screenplay after a massive snowstorm trapped him and his family inside their Boston apartment for nine days in 2015. He gained representation after his spec script Mutt, the biopic of legendary skateboarder Rodney Mullen, trended on Franklin Leonard's Black List website in 2018. Parizo is also a film programmer for Slamdance since 2022.
