Steven Lamar Moore is an award-winning film composer, record producer, and founder of Moore Music Productions. Lamar has scored over 10 films in his early film composing career. Award winning films such as: "Caged"- directed by Nick Power-Gomez, and "Kings"- directed by Jamaal Scott. Both films were highly successful in the film festival circuit. "Kings" was aired on Revolt's TV "indie film series" in 2019-2021.
As an artist, the Compton native has produced versatile albums such as Instrumental Soundtrack Jazz album "Feel. Good. Cool." (2017), "Scores & Moore (Original Film Music Soundtrack)" (2020), and most recent instrumental album "Chillhop Vibes Vol.1" (2022). Lamar is currently writing music for William Shatner's show "The Unexplained", and has also teamed up with Netflix's production team "MusicLab" in 2021 as a staff composer. Lamar has composed music for Netflix's "Colin's Black & White" and Dave Chappelle's "The Closer" to name a few.
Lamar has been releasing instrumentals of "chill & study-meditative music". The "Chillhop Vibes Vol.1" album consists of several singles, "Carter", "Yezur", "Ru-Lax", "Cole", etc. All instrumentals and albums are available for streaming and purchase on all digital plate-forms.
