Edoardo Vitaletti is an Italian-born, NYC-based Writer and Director. He is best known for his feature-length debut The Last Thing Mary Saw, a horror-drama starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Rory Culkin and Stefanie Scott. The film premiered at the 25th edition of Montreal's Fantasia International Film Festival and screened at more festivals between the US and Europe, including London's acclaimed FrightFest. It was acquired for distribution by AMC's Shudder and made available for streaming in 2022.
Following the release, Variety singled out Vitaletti as a director who "merits admiration for a debut feature whose ambitions are off the usual beaten track." Vitaletti's directing style has been described as "breath-holdingly hypnotic" (Austin Chronicle) and capable of generating "slow-burn tension that explodes" (IGN) as well as a "you-are-there feeling that's unusual in low-budget period pictures" (Roger Ebert). Comic Book Resources hailed Vitaletti's debut as a "must-see horror film" and echoed Rolling Stone Italy in calling him a "young auteur to keep our eyes on."
