Gibson's early exposure to the arts began on stage in Morristown, Tennessee, where he grew up, participating in local theater productions. His passion for filmmaking emerged at a young age, culminating in the release of several short films, one of which earned him an award at his high school film festival.
At 21, Gibson entered the film industry by taking on various background roles in television and film, including "The Last Movie Star," as a way to deepen his understanding of the craft. In 2021, he wrote and directed a short film, "Bright", which premiered at the Louisville International Festival of Film, marking a significant milestone in his career.
