John Kaler is an American actor/producer born in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised in San Antonio. John began his entertainment journey in 2004 doing artist development, promotions and management which landed him a job with Cinematic Music Group when they discovered Nipsey Hussle and Question. He also developed an artist, Liveola, who developed a cult fanbase across the world. Around 2009, John left the music business. In 2017, John decided to pursue acting and began working on sets. He began to study the basics of film, acting, on camera, and began his open book to classes and learning. In 2018, John was cast as "Lascivious Man" on Wonder Woman 1984. He jumped on a plane, leaving his wife and daughter, to work three weeks as a local hire, in hopes to earn his Sag-aftra invitation. His persistence worked, and Patty Jenkins made his dream of joining Sag-aftra reality. Since then, John has been acting and also producing in several projects with director Alejandro Montoya-Marin. John's 2020 short film, Perps, won Best nm Short Film at the 2020 Santa Fe Film Festival and went on to reach 75,000 views in 2 weeks, after being released on YouTube during the Pandemic. His thoughts were simple. "Let's reach as many people at home with Perps, while most are at home during the pandemic". After the success of PERPS, John teamed up with Alejandro Montoya Marin and Tiffany Neeley to shoot and produce BLOOD POSITIVE, a thriller in Twenty Nine Palms, California. A few months later, John & Alejandro wrote & shot a dark comedy, The Wrong Guy. Both films were shot under covid-safety program, daily testing, and SAG-AFTRA.
