I was born in Istanbul Kadikoy in 1990,
While I was studying at Saint-Joseph High School, the school's photography club introduced me to the visual arts, I started taking photos as an amateur at the age of 15 and I started participating in high school photography competitions.
During my undergraduate education at Sabancii University, I started working on photography, analog photography, darkroom and motion picture. I started making catalog shoots and backstage videos professionally.
While studying at the Cinema Department of Bilgi University in 2014, I started to work actively as a camera assistant in the advertising industry, and I had the opportunity to work with many experienced Turkish and foreign cinematographers.
Some of the short films I'm involved in as a cinematographer are Joypad 2016, DaCapo 2018 Overhear 2019; won awards in national and international competitions.
Since 2017, I started to work professionally as a cinematographer.
My first feature film; The 2 sides of the war movie, whose shooting was completed in Cyprus in 2019.
my second feature length; Donadona (2022), whose filming we finished during the pandemic, premiered at IKSV 2022.
We established Modi Film Collective with Cemal Cihan Kirli in 2019, and we continue to produce Documentary, Advertising and Clip projects with our team in our office in Suadiye.
I have had the opportunity to work with more than 100 commercials, clips and documentary projects that I am the director of photography, with local and foreign directors and production teams of all sizes.
