Olivia was born in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories (NWT), Canada and is a member of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region. She has a very diverse cultural background. Olivia's mother, Gloria Iatridis, is an Inuvialuk (Inuk) from Tuktoyaktuk, NWT in Northern Canada and her father, Perry Iatridis, is of Greek descent. Olivia has two older brothers, Michael and Phillip Iatridis.

Olivia excels in the Arts. Olivia started dancing at age 3 and has trained in ballet, lyrical, jazz and other forms of dance. Olivia also trained as a figure skater for 7 years. Olivia began acting at the age of 13 when she moved to Alberta, Canada.
