Colin Rieser is a filmmaker and co-owner at Blue Kite Cinema, a film production company located in Los Angeles, California. Colin is a graduate of William Paterson University of New Jersey, where he received a BA in Classical Percussion and Sound Engineering.
After graduation, Colin launched his filmmaking career with his company, Blue Kite Cinema, specializing in destination wedding films, narrative web series, and corporate commercials. It was in this capacity that he honed his skill for crafting films and won numerous industry awards including being named "Top 100 Most Inspiring People/Businesses in the Wedding Industry" by The Knot and receiving 1st place in the 2017 WPPI International Filmmaking Competition. His success in the wedding industry has led to larger film projects including the #1-ranked national infomercial for the Beachbody fitness program CIZE in 2016 and the Telly Award-winning TV series, Our Wedding Story on UPtv.
