Norwegian actress Brit Landa, born and raised on the island Halsnøy, Norway at her family's farm. She was part of the media breaking immersive theatre called The Tension Experience (2016) by Darren Lynn Bousman, Clint Sears and Gordon Bijelonic. She also landed a part in Brandon Jameson's award winning fashion film "Pearl" (2017), playing mother of Pearl. She is known for her performance in the multi award winning film "Fortitude" (2017), along with "Loved Ones (2017), "Just Business" (2017), " A Letter to Rachel" (2018), "Blodåre" (2013) to mention a few. So far she has won 15 awards for her talent both as an actress and a director within Film and TV across the world.
She moved to England, Kingston upon Thames at a young age where she studied Faculty of Social Science and Art, dance and drama and graduated with a bachelor degree. She continued to live in England, London for 3 years working as a professional dancer at theaters and events both in England and America and as a model. She decided to move back to Norway in 2013 to do acting full time. She started her bachelor degree in acting, Norway Oslo, but got offered a full time place at New York Film Academy, Los Angeles after receiving excellent reviews and feedback from the semester she did at their academy in New York, combined with her degree from Norway. After receiving a talent scholarship within acting she moved to Los Angeles where she finished her degree and continued staying to work professionally as an actress within film, TV and live performance, theatre.
She does stage combat, MMA and is a professional horseback rider. She started writing her own work back in 2013. Later on she put together some of her work and shot a short film called "Fortitude" (2017) which got a lot of attention in the media back in her country, Norway and later went on to win 14 awards across the world. She is the lead character in the very promising TV-series "Loved Ones" (2018) by Ryan A. Nichols. She still keep on writing her own plays and books and are behind the immersive theatre play called "Nora" which is scheduled to be put up in 2019 in Norway and the book called "Sjelsstyrke" (Fortitude) which her short film is based on (2017).
Within live performance theatre she is best known from "Caligula" (2015), "Lady from the sea" (2015) "Hedda Gabler" (2015) and "The dreamer examines his pillow" (2016).
