Dr. Ranu Sinha is a filmmaker and the CEO of GlamR LLC, California. She is a multiple award-winning director, screenplay writer and composer for movies and record label productions.
She is a first-generation Indian immigrant who came to USA in the year 2000. Hailing from a cosmopolitan town known as Tatanagar, she had an excellent education, starting with her primary education from Sacred Heart School and Loyola School Jamshedpur. She completed her Bachelor's in Sociology from Lady Shriram College, New Delhi along with a Doctorate in Social Science from JNU (Jawahar Lal Nehru University), New Delhi, India.
Dr. Ranu Sinha started her career in the US as a Social Science professor in reputable colleges and universities such as Santa Clara University, University of California Berkeley, and Merritt College in Oakland to name a few, winning several awards as a faculty.
Her passion for films and theatre became a profession when she trained in filmmaking from Raindance in Los Angeles. Dr. Ranu Sinha is acknowledged in the San Francisco Bay Area and Bollywood as a first Indo-American global trendsetter to use creativity from all walks of life.
