Sophie Paulette Jupillat (Dec. 11, 1993), a French-Venezuelan writer and composer, is an alumna of Rollins College where she studied English Literature, Creative Writing, and Music. She has published poetry, fiction and non-fiction, as well as some of her orchestral works in magazines such as : Masque and Spectacle, Perspectives, Mulberry Fork Review, Festival Writer, Art Saves Lives International, and Cahoodaloodaling.
Her published musical compositions so far are: "Waltz of the Romanovs," "Waltz of the Romanovs folk version," "Jazz Fusion Bolero," "Remembrance of a Waltz," "Simmering Soul," "Embrace of the Past", and "The Unnamed Waltz."
In her music, she experiments with classical, jazz and ethnic influences, to culminate in various orchestral works. She also composes piano solo works.
